Side Window Clips Adrift

SITUATION:

DOOR GLASS CLIPS FAILURE





The side window glass clips may disengage or break in some Defender vehicles.

RESOLUTION:

GLASS CLIP ATTACHMENT

If the glass clips loosen or hinder proper window operation the clips are to be replaced using the procedure outlined in this bulletin. The sealant used for windshield installation will be used in small quantities to ensure proper adhesion of the new clips to the window.

BHM7O5L Sealant kit (for bonded windshield)

Beta wipe glass activator (VPO 4604-yellow top)
Beta prime glass primer (5001-green top)
Beta prime plastic primer (5402-red top)
HV3 PU adhesive 300 ml cartridge
