Handset Transmitter

The handset LED will give one short flash when the button is pressed and released. If the button is held down, the handset LED will light again after 2 seconds.

The handset contains a set of random rolling codes programmed into the ECU before it leaves the factory. Each time the handset is pressed, a different code is transmitted to the ECU.

The batteries of the handset need to be replaced when:
^ The handset LED flashes continuously when the button is pressed. or,
^ When arming the vehicle, the hazard lights flash once for 3 seconds, instead of three times.
