Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

1. If the Blower Motor(s) do not run at any speed, do Test A. Test A
2. If the Front Blower Motor (M101) does not run at any speed, but the Rear Blower Motor (M145) operates correctly, do Test B. Test B
3. If the Rear Blower Motor (M145) does not run at any speed, but the Front Blower Motor (M101) operates correctly, do Test E. Test E
4. If the Front Blower Motor (M101) runs in some but not all Fan Speed Switch (X247) positions, do Test C. Test C
5. If the Rear Blower Motor (M145) runs in some but not all Rear Fan Speed Switch (X246) positions, do Test F. Test F
6. If the Air Supply Selector Switch (X180) does not allow the driver to change between recirculation and fresh air modes, do Test D. Test D
7. With the engine running and the Fan Speed Switch (X179) in position III, put the Air Supply Selector Switch (X180) to Recirculation mode. Place a piece of paper in front of the fresh air intake vents on the vehicle hood. If the paper is drawn toward the vents, do Test D. Test D
8. With the engine running and the Fan Speed Switch (X179) in position III, put the Air Supply Selector Switch (X180) to Fresh Air Mode. Place a piece of paper in front of the recirculation air intake vents. If the paper is drawn toward the intake, do Test D. Test D
