Problem 3: Poor Operation of Interior/Exterior Release Handles

Cause: Incorrect link installation.

Action: Refit interior release handle at a mid-point on its horizontal mounting slots.





Remove exterior release link rod MTC 4665 and check length - see Fig. 11. Replace if necessary.





When refitting rod, adjust by screwing it in or out of adjusting peg, until a slack is removed. Linkage must start to move as soon as exterior handle is operated. See Fig. 12.
