Tailgate

REMOVE

Cover:

^ Remove two screws and the trim covering to gain access to the actuator.
^ Disconnect the electrical connection (2).
^ Remove the two actuator retaining screws (3).
^ Maneuver the actuator assembly to detach the operating rod eye (4) from the actuator link to the lock.
^ Withdraw the tailgate actuator unit (5).

REFIT
^ Reverse the removal procedure.
^ Check the operation of the central locking system.
