Glove Box and Floor Mounted Console Assembly

Service Repair No - 76.52.03

Remove

1. Disconnect the battery negative lead.
2 Remove screws securing glove box liner and withdraw liner.
3. Disconnect electrical leads to rear passenger cigar lighter.



4. Remove switch panel.
5. Remove transfer gear knob.
6. Remove automatic gear selector knob.
7. Remove illumination panel gear selector.



8. Remove two bolts and two screws securing console to gearbox tunnel.
9. Move assembly rearwards to detach location tab at front of console from radio housing.
10. Move assembly over parking brake and gear levers. Remove from vehicle.

Refit

11. Reverse removal instructions. Ensure electrical plugs are fitted correctly and electrical wiring does not become trapped.
