Solenoid valvesResistance inspection
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect solenoid valve connector.
3. Measure resistance between each terminal and a ground.
Resistance: 14 - 18 Ohms
Notice:
a) 2: Torque converter clutch solenoid
b) 3: Shift solenoid valve A
c) 6: Shift solenoid valve B
d) 9: Shift solenoid valve C
4. If not correct, check wiring for an open or short circuit.
Replace solenoid valve
Continuity inspection
1. Disconnect 55-pin connector from transaxle control module.
2. Check continuity between terminals TCM-30, TCM-33, TCM-32 and TCM-4, and ground.
3. If not correct, check wiring for an open circuit.
