Impact Sensor: Service Precautions

FRONT AIR BAG SENSOR SERVICE (MULTI-POINT AIR BAG-SRS SYSTEM)

WARNING
Improper handling of the front air bag sensors can accidently deploy the air bag, which may result in serious injury. Read all SERVICE WARNINGS and SERVICE CAUTIONS before servicing the air bag SRS.

CAUTION
Follow GENERAL PROCEDURES before performing service.

CAUTION
Never service wiring or electrical components when any air bag module is connected.

NOTICE
Air bag SRS wiring harnesses are wrapped with yellow insulation for identification.
