Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

Description:

REMOVAL INSTALLATION
1. Remove in the order shown in the image.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.


INSPECTION / ADJUSTMENT
1. Depress the accelerator pedal fully. Check if the throttle valve is fully opened.
2. Inspect the play of the accelerator cable.

Play: 0.04-0.12 in (1-3 mm)

3. Loosen the nuts to adjust the play if necessary.
