Headlamp Relay: Testing and Inspection

Circuit Testing-Headlight Relay:

1. Remove headlight relay from engine compartment fuse/relay box.
2. With the relay de-energized, use an ohmmeter to check the relay's coil and contacts. Energize the relay and check for contact closure.
3. If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.
