Pressure Cutoff Switch

Removal
1 Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications
2 Recover the A/C refrigerant.
3 Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover




4 Remove the air intake duct.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the 2 clips.

CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing components, ensure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean. Plug open connections to prevent contamination.
Remove the pressure cutoff switch.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

Installation

NOTE:
Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.
Install the pressure cutoff switch.
- Clean the components.
- Install a new O-ring seal.
- Tighten the cutoff switch to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
- Connect the electrical connector.
2 Install the air intake duct.
- Tighten the clips.
- Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
3 Recharge the A/C system.
4 Install the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover
5 Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover. For additional information, refer to Specifications
