Glove Compartment Lid not Damped When Opening





AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
The glove compartment lid may not be damped when opening.

Cause:
This may be caused by the glove compartment lid damper cord retaining tab coming away from the glove compartment housing.

NOTE:
The split / cotter pin (2mm X 30mm) must be locally sourced.

Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to install a split / cotter pin onto the glove compartment damper arm.

PARTS:
2mm X 30mm split / cotter pin Qty: 1 (to be obtained locally)
