Anti-Theft Alarm Horn

Removal
1 Make the pedestrian protection system safe. For additional information, refer to Pedestrian Protection System Depowering and Repowering




2 Remove the air intake cover.
- Remove the 3 clips.
3 Release the pedestrian protection actuator bracket.
- Release the 3 wiring harness clips.
- Remove the 4 bolts.




4 Remove the pedestrian protection actuator and bracket.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.




5 Remove the anti-theft alarm horn.
- Loosen but do not remove the 2 nuts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation
1 Install the anti-theft alarm horn.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
2 Install the pedestrian protection actuator and bracket.
- Connect the electrical connector.
3 Secure the pedestrian protection actuator bracket.
- Attach the wiring harness clips.
- Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (6 lb.ft).
4 Install the air intake cover.
- Install the 3 clips.
