Ignition Coil-On-Plug

Removal
1 Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover - 4.2L, Vehicles With: Supercharger Engine Cover




2 Detach the PCV valve from the RH valve cover
- Disconnect the vacuum hose.

Remove the ignition coil-on-plug cover.
- Release from the 2 clips.

Disconnect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connector.

Remove the ignition coil-on-plug.
- Remove the bolt.

Installation

NOTE:

Install the ignition coil-on-plug.
- Tighten the bolt to 6 Nm (4 lb.ft).
2 Connect and secure the electrical connector.
3 Install the ignition coil-on-plug cover.
- Position and secure the clips.




4 Install the PCV valve.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose.
5 Install the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover - 4.2L, Vehicles With: Supercharger Engine Cover
