PINPOINT TEST G531332p25 : SENSOR SUPPLY VOLTAGE MALFUNCTION, HIGH/LOW VOLTAGE

G531332t95 : CHECK THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE AT THE MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR
1. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector, PI301.
2. Key on, engine off.
3. Measure the voltage between:

MAP sensor connector PI301, Battery
harness side
Pin 02 Negative terminal

- Is the voltage less than 5 volts?

->YES
REPAIR the circuit between the MAP sensor and battery. This circuit includes splice PIS84. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

->NO
GO to Pinpoint Test G531332t96.

G531332t96 : CHECK THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE AT THE FUEL RAIL PRESSURE (FRP) SENSOR
1. Disconnect the FRP sensor electrical connector, PI28.
2. Measure the resistance between:

FRP sensor connector PI28, Battery
harness side
Pin 01 Negative terminal

- Is the voltage less than 5 volts?

->YES
REPAIR the circuit between the FRP sensor and battery. This circuit includes splice PIS84. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

->NO
CHECK for DTCs indicating a sensor fault. Refer to the DTC index.
