Recall 06V018000: Moonroof Replacement

POTENTIAL NUMBER OF UNITS AFFECTED: 2675

SUMMARY:
On certain sedans equipped with moonroofs, a reinforcement bar was incorrectly assembled so that the bar may contact the glass in the moonroof. When closing a door or upon severe road impact, it is possible that the moonroof glass may shatter.

CONSEQUENCE:
If the glass shatters, there is a risk of injury to the vehicle occupants.

Remedy:
Dealers will replace the moonroof free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule for this campaign. Owners may contact Jaguar at 1-800-452-4827.
