Air Suspension Compressor
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. WARNING: Loosen the pipes no more than one full turn to allow the stored air pressure to vent for a minimum of three seconds.
CAUTION: Using a suitable blanking plug, blank off the end of the air pipe to prevent dirt ingress.
NOTE: Make a note of the correct routing of the air pipe.
Detach the air pipe.
^ Undo the retaining nut.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove the compressor.
Installation
1. CAUTION: Make sure the compressor pipe is correctly positioned through the bumper beam.
Align the compressor to the bumper beam.
2. Tighten to 20 Nm.
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. CAUTION: Make sure the compressor pipe retaining nut is not over tightened. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.
NOTE: Make sure the pipe is routed correctly.
Tighten to 2 Nm.
5. Connect the electrical connector.
6. Connect the battery ground cable.
