PINPOINT TEST G215852p6 : P2504: CHARGING SYSTEM VOLTAGE HIGH

G215852t17 : CHECK FOR DTC AFTER MINIMUM LOAD TEST
1. Clear all DTCs.
2. Start the engine and allow to idle with no additional electrical load.
3. Allow the engine to idle for at least five minutes while checking for DTCs.

- Does P2504 reflag within five minutes?

-> YES
INSTALL a new generator. CLEAR the DTC, test the system for normal operation.

-> NO
CHECK with owner/driver for any history of boost charging.
