Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Accelerator Cable Adjustment







1. Remove the primary cable retaining clip.
2. NOTE: Make sure the accelerator cable is seated fully in the retaining bracket.
- Fully depress the accelerator pedal and hold down.







3. NOTE: Fully depress the accelerator pedal and hold down.
- Install the retaining clip.

4. Release the accelerator pedal.
5. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and hold down.
6. If the accelerator actuator is not in the fully open position, repeat the above procedure.
