Thermostat

Removal
1. Drain the cooling system.





2. Detach the oil cooler coolant hose from the thermostat housing and position to one side.





3. NOTE: The thermostat remains captive in the thermostat housing.

Remove the thermostat.
^ Remove and discard the gasket.

Installation





1. NOTE: Install a new, gasket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
1. Tighten to 10 Nm.

2. Fill the cooling system.
