Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.






2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.






3. Detach the air cleaner intake pipe.






4. Detach the air cleaner.

Vehicles with supercharger






5. Disconnect the air intake actuator electrical connector.

All vehicles






6. Remove the air cleaner.

Installation






1. NOTE: When installing the air cleaner, make sure the locating pegs fit securely in the locating grommets.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Tighten to 8 Nm.
