Toe Adjustment-Front
1. Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
2. Turn the engine off, and hold the steering wheel in the "straight ahead" position by attaching a rigid link from the steering wheel to the brake pedal.
3. Check the toe settings. Follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
4. Loosen the lock nuts. Remove the steering gear boot clamps.
^ Clean and lubricate the lock nuts and front tie-rod threads.
5. NOTE: Do not allow the steering gear boot to twist when the front tie-rod is rotated.
Rotate the front tie-rods to adjust the toe setting.
6. Tighten the lock nuts and install the steering gear boot clamps.
7. Recheck the toe settings. Follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
