Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Removal

Right-Hand Bank

1. Remove the intake manifold.





2. Remove the ignition coil.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the ignition coil securing bolt.
Remove the ignition coil.


Left-Hand Bank





3. Remove the engine cover.





4. Remove the ignition coil.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the ignition coil securing bolt.
Remove the ignition coil.


Installation

NOTE: Apply a light film of Dielectric compound to the ignition coil meeting Jaguar specification.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
