B5: Check Harness Short to Ground

Ignition switch to position 0
Disconnect EM010, EM020 and EM007

Inside ECM housing

Measure the resistance between EM010/009 and ground EM016R
Repeat for EM020/008 and ground EM016R

- > 10 M ohms?
Yes
GO to B6 B6: End
No
Inspect EM010 and EM020 for corrosion, bent/pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness. Test the system for normal operation.
