B3: Check Electrical Feed

NOTE: The engine will NOT start if F14 or relay 1 is at fault.


With EM039 disconnected, measure the voltage at pin 1 with respect to ground (EM010/022).

- B+?
Yes
GO to B4 B4: Check Harness Continuity
No
Inspect the harness/connector EM039, EM019, splice EMS30 for corrosion, bent/pushed back pins.
Check fuse F14 and that EMS relay 1 is energized. Repair as necessary and test the system for normal operation.
