Cranking Performance (Cold Cranking Amps. C.C.A.)




The cranking current in ampere is the current that can be drawn at a test temperature of - 18° C. During the discharge at the rated (C.C.A) the battery terminal voltage must remain at or above 7.2 voltsfor at least 30 seconds.

Note the following:
- Topping up should be carried out when the electrolyte has fallen below the top of the separators.
- The vent covers must always remain in situ except during the topping up procedure.
