Battery Capacity (Ah)

Battery capacity in Ampere hours (Ah) is given as Ah = time (hrs) current. Where time = 20 hrs, and current + Ah/2O, the battery capacity in Ah is normally declared by the battery manufacturer.
E.g. For battery of 72 Ah capacity, 3.6 amps can be delivered for 20 hrs. Ah is the only useful parameter used to calculate the effect of quiescent current on battery capacity.
