ISSUE:

A condition may occur where the driver's seat cuts into the accessory floor mat, due to incorrect installation, especially after the mat is removed for cleaning and is then reinstalled.

ACTION:

Use the following technique when reinstalling the mat to prevent buckling of the mat resulting in interference with the seat mechanism.

Advise any personnel involved in the cleaning or detailing of vehicles of this procedure. In the event of a customer concern, the procedure can also be demonstrated to the customer.

REINSTALLING FLOOR MAT

1. Roll mat up toward grommet. Align and lock the half-turn fastener.

2. Roll the mat away from the fastener until the mat lies flat on the floor.

WARRANTY POLICY:

Any floor mats damaged as a result of improper installation are not covered under warranty.
