Trunk / Liftgate Striker: Service and Repair

Fig. 1:

- Open the trunk lid and remove the trim as detailed in 'Service and Repair.' Service and Repair
- Remove the two bolts and spring washers and remove the striker plate (Fig.1).
- On renewing the striker plate, adjust the striker to ensure that the luggage compartment lid aligns with the rear fenders.

Refit in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
