Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove left side air cleaner element.
3. Cut nylon ties securing fan motor wiring harness to main harness, then disconnect leads from fan motor.
4. Disconnect motor ground wire from stud.
5. Cut nylon tie securing fan motor harness to mounting frame.
6. Remove fan motor mounting frame to fan cowl mounting bolts.
7. Remove motor and frame from vehicle, then separate motor and frame assembly.
8. Remove fan blade.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
