FUEL RAIL (Left hand side)

RENEW

Depressurize the fuel system. Disconnect the battery earth lead.

Disconnect the left hand throttle rod from the throttle pedestal (1).

Disconnect the regulator to fuel rail hose from the fuel rail (2).

Disconnect the manifold cross pipe from the left hand inlet manifold (3).

Disconnect the cold start injector hose from the fuel rail (4).

Plug the hose and rail.

Slacken the hose clips and disconnect the fuel rail halves (5).

Plug the hoses and fuel rail.

Slacken the injector hose clips and remove the fuel rail. Refitting a new fuel rail is the reversal of the above operations ensuring all hose connections secure and tight.
