Part of Service Action D291 modified the attachment method of the injectors to the fuel rail. It is not possible to replace single injectors, therefore, injectors - P/N ERC 3620 - are no longer available for Jaguar XJ-S vehicles in the following VIN range:

The new fuel rail supplied in the service action kit has all twelve injectors permanently attached, with ferrules on the hoses which must not be removed.
On no account are hoses to be cut or changed or used with hose clamps.
Should injectors be required for TR3 or Rover 3500 vehicles, they are available under P/N ERC 3620/SPEC.
NOTE: A tool is being developed to facilitate installation of the new injectors and will be issued when available.
