Hissing From Around Rear Hatch

Conditions:
Hissing from around the rear hatch when driving on rough roads.





Possible cause:
Hissing is caused by insufficient air holes on the rear hatch weatherstrip.





Correction:
1. Add two holes between existing holes ((A)-(D)) on the weatherstrip. The 2 mm (0.08 in.) dia. holes should be made in a line with existing holes.
2. Check to see if the existing holes are opened completely.
