Inspection
1. Clean all metal parts in suitable solvent.
2. Inspect choke and float chamber for signs of cracks and damage.
3. Inspect choke and throttle shaft bores for wear.
4. Ensure choke valve operates freely.
5. Check power valve (if equipped) for leaks and smoothness of operation.
6. Inspect jet threads, metering holes and mounting holes for damage.
7. Inspect float for damage. Ensure float pin bore is not worn.
8. Inspect accelerator pump plunger for damage and distortion. Ensure plunger moves freely in bore.
9. Ensure fuel delivery ports are clear.
10. Ensure idle mixture adjusting screws are not worn or damaged.
11. Inspect diaphragm for signs of deterioration and damage.
