Thermal Vacuum Valve: Description and Operation

This valve senses engine coolant temperature to regulate the EGR system. When the coolant temperature is below 115 to 129°F, the EGR system does not operate. When the coolant temperature is above 115 to 129°F, the EGR system operates.
