Oil Pump Replace

1. Remove timing belt. Refer to ``Timing Belt, Replace.''

2. Remove four Allen bolts securing oil pump, remove oil pump and pulley as an assembly, Fig. 42.
3. Refer to ``Oil Pump, Inspection & Service.''
4. Prior to installation apply a generous amount of clean engine oil to vane, install with taper side towards the cylinder body.
5. Install new pump O-ring, lubricate with motor oil and install in the housing groove. Lubricate oil pump rotor and install pump body together with pulley.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque mounting bolts to 11-18 ft. lbs.
