STARTER MOTOR

VQ37VHR : Removal and Installation (2WD)


Removal

1.Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal. Removal And Installation.
2.Remove front undercover. Front Under Cover.
3.Remove road wheel and tire (Front LH). Removal And Installation





4.Disconnect steering lower joint (1), then remove it. Removal And Installation (Without
4WAS) or Removal And Installation (With
4WAS).
5.Remove terminal B nut (A).





6.Disconnect connector S (A).





7.Remove starter motor mounting bolts (B), using power tools.





8.Remove starter motor (1) from the side of the vehicle.






INSTALLATION

Note the following item, and install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Be sure to tighten terminal B nut carefully.
