DTC DETECTION LOGIC

NOTE:
If DTC P31F7, P31F8, P31FB, P31FC or P31FD is displayed with DTC UXXXX, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC UXXXX. Testing and Inspection.






DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PRECONDITIONING

If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
- GO TO 2.

2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.Set the vehicle to READY.
2.Press MAIN switch on ASCD/ICC steering switch for 1.5 seconds or more, and operate ASCD system.
3.Drive the vehicle at more than 40 km/h (25 MPH).

CAUTION:
Always drive the vehicle at a safe speed.
4.Press SET/COAST switch.
5.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Proceed to .
NO- INSPECTION END


Diagnosis Procedure


1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.Erase DTC.
2.Perform DTC confirmation procedure. .
Is DTC P31F7, P31F8, P31FB, P31FC or P31FD detected again?
YES- Replace HPCM. Removal and Installation.
NO- INSPECTION END
