Description
- The parking brake warning is displayed during vehicle travel even though the parking brake is released.
- The parking brake warning is not displayed even though driving the vehicle with the parking brake applied.




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. INPUT SIGNAL
1. Connect the CONSULT-III.
2. Select the "Data Monitor" of the "METER/M&A" and check the "PKB SW" monitor value. Parking Brake Switch Signal Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace combination meter.
NO - GO TO 2.
2.CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
Check the parking brake switch signal circuit. Parking Brake Switch Signal Circuit or Parking Brake Switch Signal Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NG - Repair harness or connector.
3.CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH
Check the parking brake switch. Parking Brake Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace combination meter.
NO - Replace parking brake switch.
