Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK POWER POSITION
Check if ignition switch position is changing or not.
Does ignition switch position change?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - GO TO 2.
2.CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH
Check push-button ignition switch. Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Check BCM for DTC. Testing and Inspection.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3.CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch. Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.CHECK KEY SLOT
Check key slot. Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 5.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
5.CHECK COMBINATION METER DISPLAY
Check combination meter display. Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 6.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
6.CHECK KEY SLOT INDICATOR
Check key slot indicator. Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 7.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
7.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.
