INTRODUCTION

Infiniti has determined that the multifunction switch assembly located in the center of the dash (which controls such things as the phone radio vehicle and navigation information) may not be operating properly on some model year 2007 M35 and M45 vehicles. The image on the center display screen on the dash may not change when operating the radio A/C and/or navigation system controls.

To remedy this potential condition Infiniti is conducting a Service Campaign to inspect the multi-function switch. If a replacement part is necessary Infiniti will replace the multifunction switch assembly free of charge for parts or labor.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Infiniti has assigned identification number P7246 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this Campaign.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

Infiniti recommends that dealers correct each vehicle falling within the range of this campaign that enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.
