Diagnostic Procedure

1. Confirm that the rattle or buzz noise and/or distorted sub-woofer sounds exist by listening to audio with high bass content.

NOTE:
Write down the volume and bass levels that created the noise for use in re-testing in Secure Parcel Shelf Board Hold-Down clips (Step 3,) and Q-Pad (TM) Installation Procedure (Step 36,) of this procedure.

Use the customer's audio source (CD, tape, etc.) which originally produced the noise, whenever possible.
