Secure Parcel Shelf Board Hold-Down Clips

1. Verify the parcel shelf board hold-down clips are fully seated in the parcel shelf.

A. For vehicles equipped with a rear sunshade: The parcel shelf hold-down clips fasten into the frame of the sunshade. If you can pull up on the edges of the parcel shelf, the parcel shelf clips are not fully seated.

Press down along the top driver's side edge of the sunshade opening on both sides of the sub-woofer to ensure that the hold-down clips are seated properly.

B. For vehicles without a rear sunshade: Open the trunk and verify that the parcel shelf board hold-down clips are completely seated into the ceiling of the trunk.

2. Properly tighten down any loose hold-down clips and replace any broken clips, as needed.

3. Repeat Step 1 in Diagnostic Procedure to verify if the noise is gone. Use the same bass and volume levels and audio source noted.

A. If the noise is gone, the procedure is complete.

B. If the noise continues after completing the steps above, proceed with Q-Pad (TM) Installation Procedure.
