1999 G20 HOIST LIFT POINTS

SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin provides instructions on how to safely lift the 1999 G20 on a hoist.

The lower edge of the sill spoiler extends below the vehicle hoist lift points. The sill spoiler will break or become damaged if the hoist lift is not positioned correctly.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Position the hoist lift points as shown in Figure 1. The hoist lift points are the same as the jack points. Be sure the lift pads do not contact the sill spoiler.

2. If possible, increase the height of the lift arm extension where they contact the vehicle (see Figure 2).

WARNING: When setting the lift arms, make sure the arms or extensions do not contact the brake tubes, brake cable, fuel lines or spoiler. Failure to keep the lift arms or extensions from contacting these components will result in damage to the vehicle.


3. When lifting the vehicle, make sure the front and rear are well balanced.
