SERVICE INFORMATION

There are now replacement glass run rubbers to be used in some applied 1999 G20s if, after the window has been left fully closed for more than 24 hours, the glass sticks to the run rubber. If this condition occurs, a "pop" noise may be heard when the window is lowered.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace the affected glass run rubber with the part specified in the Parts Information section of this bulletin.

For replacement of the front door glass run rubber(s), submit a Primary Failed Part (PP) line using the claims coding as shown.

1) If the glass run rubber is replaced in both the RH and LH doors, use this Op Code twice on the same line.

2) Reference the Parts Information table and use the indicated front door glass run rubber P/N as the PFP.





For replacement of the rear door glass run rubber(s), submit a separate Primary Failed Part (PP) line using the claims coding as shown.

1) If the glass run rubber is replaced in both the RH and LH doors, use this Op Code twice on the same line.

(2) Reference the Parts Information and use the indicated rear door glass run rubber P/N as the PFP.
