If a 1996-98 I30 exhibits sunroof water leaks, the cause may be an improperly positioned sunroof rear drain tray that may be from broken drain tray guide(s).

Drain tray guides are available separately and do not require the purchase of the entire sunroof frame.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace drain tray guide(s) according to service procedures outlined in the appropriate service manual:

- For 1996-97 I30, see pages BT-30 through BT-32 of the 1996 or 1997 I30 Service Manual.

- For 1998 I30, see pages BT-32 through BT-34 of the 1998 I30 Service Manual.
