Lamp Control Module: Description and Operation
INTERIOR LAMP, IGNITION KEYHOLE AND DOOR KEYHOLE ILLUMINATION TIMER CONTROL.Function
Interior lamp timer keeps interior lamp, ignition keyhole and door keyhole illuminated for about 10 seconds when:
^ driver or passenger side door is opened and then closed and
^ driver or passenger side door outside handle is pulled and then released.
Power supply and ground
Power is supplied at all times
^ through 10 A fuse [No.(38) located in the fuse block]
^ to interior lamp terminal (1),
^ to ignition keyhole illumination terminal (2).
Power is also supplied at all times
^ through 10 A fuse [No.(20) located in the fuse block]
^ to LH keyhole illumination terminal (4)
^ through 10 A fuse [No.(21) located in the fuse block]
^ to RH door keyhole illumination terminal (4)
Front power seat control units LH (LCUO5) and RH (LCUO6) are connected to Body Control Module (BCM) by DATA LINE A and B.
Ground is supplied to front power seat control units LH (LCUO5) and RH (LCUO6)
^ through front LH or front RH door switch terminals (2) and (3) when front door is opened
^ through body grounds (M1) and (T15) or (B18) and (M102).
Front power window control units LH (LCUO1-B) and RH (LCUO2-B) are connected to Body Control Module (BCM) by DATA LINE A and B.
Ground is also supplied to front power window control units LH (LCUO1-B) and RH (LCUO2-B)
^ through door handle switch LH and RH terminals (1) and (2) when front door handle is pulled
^ through body grounds (M1) and (T15) or (B18) and (M102).
Timer operation
Driver or passenger side door is opened and then closed or driver or passenger side door outside handle is pulled and then released.
Ground is then supplied to interior lamp terminal (2),ignition keyhole illumination terminal (1) through BCM terminal (15) to illuminate.
Ground is also supplied to door keyhole illumination LH and RH terminal (3) through front power seat switch assembly LH (LCUO1-A) or RH (LCUO2-A) to illuminate.
