Inspection Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal Circuit:

Component Inspection
1. Remove vehicle speed sensor (VSS) from transmission.
2. Turn sensor pinion quickly by hand and measure the voltage output between the sensor terminals.

Specification: Approx. 0.5 Volts AC

3. Replace VSS if not as specified.
