Rollover Valve: Description and Operation

Fuel Check/Rollover Valve:

PURPOSE
To prevent fuel spillage from the Evaporative Emissions Canister in the event the vehicle becomes inverted.

OPERATION
Under normal conditions, the gasoline vapor passage in the valve is opened, but if roll-over occurs the ball closes the fuel passage preventing fuel leaks
