SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin is to notify you that Infiniti is initiating a field service action to replace existing sun visor labels on the applied vehicles. With an owner's letter, new labels and application directions, Infiniti is asking owners to affix the labels themselves, or if they prefer, they can have it done at a dealership. The owner's letter is attached for your reference.

The owners will receive three labels; one for the front (stowed position) and one for the rear (down position) of the drivers visor; and one label for the rear of the passenger's visor. The label stating "Air Bag. See other side." (airbag label) goes on the front side of the driver's visor. The other two warning labels go on the rear side of the driver's and passenger's visors.

Use the following procedure to affix the labels in the event a customer requests this service.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE ANY EXISTING AIRBAG WARNING LABELS. THE REPLACEMENT LABELS ARE DESIGNED TO COVER THE EXISTING LABELS.





1. With the driver's visor in the stowed position, clean the area for the airbag label with alcohol or a mild detergent (see Figure 1).

2. Peel the airbag label from the backing sheet and affix it to the visor (stowed position) as shown.

3. With the driver's visor in the down position, clean the surface of the vanity mirror cover with alcohol or a mild detergent (see Figure 1).

4. Peel the warning label from the backing sheet and affix it to the visor (down position) as shown.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the passenger's visor.
